It was perfect for a couple of nights away - clean and comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, dog-walks on the doorstep and a good pub within 10 minutes drive). Becki sent us all the access info in plenty of time, and responded super-promptly to a couple of questions about local walks etc. All good!

The buildings are welcoming and very well-maintained. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and very nicely decorated plus we had a gorgeous panoramic view of the South Downs elevation. We could not have found a finer place to begin our holiday. Thank you, Barry, and your gracious staff.

Location very rural, roads to it are rough. Not a problem for many but be aware if your vehicle has low clearance. Annex where we stayed had a twin bedded room downstairs and a double upstairs however there was only one front door key which we sorted amicably with the lady in the double room. The doors to the bedrooms could only be locked from the inside not the outside. Definitely not ideal. The shower was reached from the hallway so not technically en suit. There was no shower door or curtain and there was a small leak from underneath the wash hand basin. We put the bucket from the pedal bin under to stop the floor getting soaked. The toilet and shower were very clean but there was only tepid water available on the evening of arrival. The following morning the water was piping hot. The bedroom itself had no wardrobe or hanging facilities and no chairs. The sheets were clean and the beds comfy but a bit of dust was to be seen and the odd cobweb. I had requested gluten free bread/roll for breakfast which did not materialize the first morning but was organized by the second so I had to have just cornflakes as I don't eat a cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast looked adequate but not exceptional. The price was extremely reasonable but you do get what you pay for. If you are easy going people this could well be fine for you. Finicky people not such a good choice. It was really peaceful and a lovely old building. The host was very pleasant.

Wisborough Green is a quiet village with a lovely village green which doubles as a cricket pitch. It has a couple of pubs one you can sit outside and have a drink while overlooking the green and the activities going on, on it. The other is on the perimeter of the village and serves good food.

We stayed to attend a wedding locally, but the countryside around was beautiful and there are several places worth visiting nearby, such as Petworth Place, Arundel Castle and the South Downs National Park.
